For Chris Isaak, first comes the song. And for First Comes The Night – his stunning first album of new material in six years – this gifted singer-songwriter and bandleader is bringing us a bumper crop of strong and intriguing songs from which to choose. Don’t miss Isaak when he comes to Atlanta in support of the new album on Thursday, September 13th!

Chris Isaak is best known for his distinctive guitar playing, which adorns the international hit single, “Wicked Game.” Signing to Warner Brothers Records in 1984, Isaak led the debut single “Dancin’,” which was also his debut music video. It was Isaak’s debut album Silvertone that spawned the other singles “Gone Ridin’” and “Livin’ for Your Lover,” both of which were featured in the movie, Blue Velvet.

The following year Isaak released his song “Wicked Game,” from the album, Heart Shaped World, released in June 1989. The song reached the top twenty of nine different countries whilst the album went on to be certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. It peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200. From the following album, San Francisco Days, released April 13, 1993, until his release Always Got Tonight, released February 12, 2002, Isaak’s albums were an international chart success.

As Isaak was the composer behind the theme song of The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, he also starred in his own television show, The Chris Isaak Show, which aired from March 2001 until March 2004.

Now, this international sensation comes to the Atlanta Symphony Hall to showcase his past and present musical releases. Tickets begin at $50 and may be purchased online prior to the show.
